LUISAVIAROMA and MATTEL are proud to announce a special project for the 10th edition of Firenze4Ever Oriental Obsession.

Barbie gets a golden makeover for the 10th edition of LUISAVIAROMA’s Firenze4Ever as Oriental Obsession Barbie, designed by Japanese artist Hiroyuki Kikuchi.*

Oriental Obsession Barbie is realized by design duo Magia 2000, Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, who are part of Mattel’s special event team. The two stylists have carefully crafted the doll’s look, produced in a limited edition of ten unique pieces based on images drafted by Hiroyuki.

The ten one-of-a-kind dolls will be auctioned on eBay starting 12 January. All proceeds will be donated to the Anastacia Fund, established through the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION and working to promote research and early detection of breast cancer.

International superstar Anastacia**, a committed spokesperson for breast cancer awareness will represent the project, kicking off the auction at the LUISAVIAROMA concept store in Florence on Monday 12 January.

Tokyo-native Hiroyuki has curated important project and campaigns in luxury sectors ranging from fashion to cars. Resident in Italy since 2003, he collaborates with major fashion, luxury and gourmet brands. His illustrations have been published in Vogue Italia and other international mastheads.

Internationally recognized music artist Anastacia has released a total of five studio albums and sold over 30 million records to date. A true survivor, Anastasia, with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, established the Anastacia Fund to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
